we called out Access Tree Surgeon today as a last ditch to get our cat down from a very precarious tree. From start to... finish I couldn't recommend them more, despite it being Sunday afternoon they picked up the phone and immediately took all my details and were onsite to help within an hour. The professionalism and experience showed, as upon seeing the site they immediately had a plan and all the kit for the job, within a few short minutes they'd scaled the tree and secured our cat and were on their way back to steady ground. I genuinely cannot thank them enough for their super speed and care in handling the situation, and while I hope I do not need to call again to fetch over adventurous felines from 30/40ft trees they'd be the first call I'd make. We contacted Access Tree Care late in the evening due to a fallen tree that had split and fallen over our drive,... leaving us unable to leave our house! Wouldn't recommend purchasing wood chips to lay paths from this company, however cheap. Who in their right mind would... think a customer wanted a van load of wood chips absolutely full of thorns to use on laying paths that are meant to be walked on ? (Hawthorne/Blackthorn not sure which, but extremely thorny) After I telling them how disappointed I was, they replied they had done me a favour because of the relatively cheap price, that trees have thorns and that they are not a garden centre? Just moved into the area and given these guys were already doing work on my road,I wandered over to have a chat re.... costs and work.They came back a few days later at about 8:30 and by 10:30 had safely removed two 20+ foot trees,and trimmed back the hedges so all were roughly even and would suffice until we had them fully removed and replaced with a gated wall. Had these guys round today to cut back our conifer trees🌲 that had grown to 20+ foot high and out quite a few foot... into the garden area, and well overhanging the public alleyway. All done within 90 minutes👍 and four men tackling a huge job. Excellent communication 📞from these guys with regards quoting, booking in of the job, and arrived as expected. Cleaned up well 👏after cutting conifers down and back using their own chipper machine. The poor birds have lost their homes🐦, but we can now relax for a few years till out of hand again, or we keep on top of the job ourselves. 10 days since Scott and team made light work of felling the large sycamore on our boundary. Kept our neighbours on... side, brought the tree down safely and sliced into manhandleable discs ready for splitting. Also ground out a load of stumps in our garden and lowered circa 30 yards of hedge by around 7ft. Made it all look easy. Tidied and cleaned up all waste and disposed from site. Friendly, co-operative hardworking team - would thoroughly recommend. Just be prepared to suffer from chainsaw envy! Kids are now enjoying the log trail in the garden!read more

We can honestly say that the Access Tree Care team did an outstanding job of taking down around 14 very large out of... control/dangerous trees (75 ft+ conifers, beech, suffocated oak etc). We have never seen guys work so hard. They are relentless and so driven even to the point they won’t have a hot drink until the middle of the morning when they have gotten through some work! Their stamina is unbelievable. They did the work all as promised-and more, on time and were reasonably priced. They left the garden and yard very tidy. We have absolutely no hesitation is recommending these tree surgeons. Scott is excellent also at keeping in touch and communicating. They also were vigilante in checking tree regulations off their own back. We will use them again for the front trees that need pruning.read more
